The Philippines is one of the best countries for outsourcing as the Filipinos have demonstrated a proficiency in the English language that has become internationally renowned. According to the study conducted by GlobalEnglish Corporation, the Philippines was named the world’s best country in business English proficiency, within two consecutive years. GlobalEnglish released an annual report called Business English Index (BEI), the only index that measures business English proficiency in the workplace.
According to their BEI Report in 2012, from 76 represented countries worldwide, only the Philippines attained a score above 7.0, putting them within range of a high proficiency that indicates an ability to lead business discussions and perform complex tasks.
